Hi, I’m Aravind and I like computers.

I’ve been fascinated by how they work since childhood, from opening machines and playing with electronics to writing small operating systems, compilers, and random experiments just to see what happens. That curiosity never really went away. I still learn the same way: pick something interesting, build it, break it, and dig deeper until it makes sense.

I work as a software engineer, mostly around backend systems, infrastructure, and distributed platforms. Outside of work, I spend a lot of time exploring systems programming, C, Linux internals, functional programming, programming languages, and the lower layers of the software stack. I also enjoy working with Kubernetes and modern web technologies, especially understanding how high-level systems are built on top of simple ideas.

This blog is my place to write things down while I learn. Some posts will be deep dives into low level topics. Others might be notes about frameworks, Linux setups, language experiments, or things I discovered while building side projects.

There isn’t a strict theme here except curiosity about software and how it works under the hood.

If you enjoy learning by tinkering, questioning abstractions, and occasionally going down technical rabbit holes, you’ll probably feel at home here.

I hope you find something interesting to read, and maybe even learn something new along the way. Thanks for stopping by!
